Agile. It’s presented to team leads and developers alike as the silver bullet that will solve all of your delivery problems. Take a class, read a book, and roll it out. You’ll get work done faster, iterate more often, and make successful products. If it were only that easy.

Being “Agile” requires so much more than a team lead to roll out a new process or set of practices. You can’t just set up sprints and make it work. In fact, you have to understand what agility means to you and your organisation, as well as your team. You have to explore patterns that work for you. You have to push boundaries, test, and iterate.

But still, there will be problems unless you’re taking a thoughtful approach to Agile transformation. In this workshop, through a series of discussions and hands-on exercises, you will find the best way to “hack” Agile and make it work for you, your team, and your organisation.

You will answer these questions during the workshop:

  • What is Agile? Or, what does it mean to you?
  • Why is Agile presenting problems for you? What are workable solutions that will keep you Agile?
  • How do you align your organization to your definition of Agile?
  • What are the tactics, ceremonies, communications, and tools you can use to support your process?

Together, we’ll explore the patterns you’ll need to implement and adapt in order to get Agile to work for you… or to get your organisation to work Agile.
